About
I am a journalism student at Boston University, working across reporting, photography, and documentary filmmaking. I am interested in telling stories about people, communities, and everyday life, with a focus on observation and lived experience.
Over the past two years, I have reported and published stories for BU News Service, Your Arlington, and Cambridge Day, covering campus life, breaking news, and community issues. Through newsroom work, I have developed a strong foundation in reporting, fact-checking, and ethical storytelling.
Alongside written reporting, I work with photography and documentary video. My visual work spans locations in both the United States and China and focuses on public spaces, community life, and quiet, everyday moments. Recent documentary projects include College Table Tennis and When Chinatown Goes Online, which explore student athletics and aging communities through long-form observation.
I aim to continue developing journalism and documentary work that is thoughtful, visually grounded, and attentive to the people at the center of each story.
